Heavy Construction Equipment Noise Study Using Dosimetry ~ identified. Dosimeters were used to acquire the dynamic noise levels of the heavy construction equipment and calculate the operator’s daily noise dose over a full shift using NIOSH, and OSHA criteria. General Instrument and Measurement Information . The dosimeter selected for this research was the Larson-Davis Spark. TM. 705+ dosimeter.
